The article examines the concept and types of abuse of civil procedural rights, as well as the application of measures of responsibility for their commission, analyzes the legislative approaches to solving this problem of legal proceedings in the Code of Civil Procedure, Arbitration Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, Code of Administrative Procedure of the Russian Federation. It is noted that the problem of abuse of procedural rights is gaining relevance due to the increasing incidence of unfair behaviour of participants in civil proceedings.
